The Bab hotel is just a short stroll to the city walls of the medina. If you are looking for a hotel that oozes cool and contemporary, and is a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of the main square, then we think the Bab hotel is a very special find. It’s more Paris Montparnasse than Marrakech. Simple but elegant white washed bedrooms that would look at home in Ibiza, adorned with images of film stars, works of art and pop culture memorabilia. One of the 2 swimming pools is located in the restaurant (naturally), with the other more traditionally located outdoors. The roof terrace, Skybab, is an inviting destination to relax, and enjoy the hotels excellent menu, and in the evening each night a DJ will play chilled tunes – it may not be the most authentic Marrkech experience but this destination is starting to re-invent itself so expect more hotels to copy the concept of this idyllic 45 room hotel. Close enough to the Medina to explore, but far enough out to forget where you are.
