The Ibiza Gran Hotel is located in Ibiza Town. If you’re idea of a great holiday is a sophisticated, relaxed and cool environment by day, and close to some of the best nightlife in Ibiza Town and beyond for after the sun goes down then the Ibiza Gran is an excellent choice. And if you like art and then you’ll appreciate the hotel’s impressive array of paintings and photographs that adorn the walls. The hotel has an excellent reputation for offering a very high level of discreet service, the staff here appreciate you are here to relax. The views form many rooms in the hotel are of the Dalt Vita, this is the “Old Town” which the Medieval castle is the epicentre and the beautiful narrow cobbled streets will draw you in like a magnet to the atmosphere and diversity of bars, restaurants and clubs and shops. Ibiza Town is a port and a city rather than a resort so, although there are beaches here they are not the best on the island. However the swimming pool at the Ibiza Gran will more than make up for that, and if you do need the beach then we can recommend a few that are not too far away in a taxi or are a short drive if you hire a car.
Then again you may just prefer to stay at the hotel and use the excellent spa facilities to balance the ying and yang of Ibiza for when you are here on the island for your slice of healthy hedonism. The spa is a 1300m2 space which offers guests 4 types of experiences.
There are 2 main restaurants, Costa Mara and Jack Pot Restaurant. The bar, La Gaia, is great for a pre or post dinner cocktail and offers live music most nights, whilst the Casino is the only one on the island (as far as we have found !).
