This whitewashed typical Ibiza finca was refurbished in 2007 and has just 10 rooms, of which 2 are suites and 8 are double rooms. All the rooms have views of the beautiful medieval city of Ibiza Town, and on most days you can see the neighbouring island of Formentera. The best views are from the hotel’s a-la-carte restaurant which sits on a large terrace and is ideal for watching the sun go down and the lights come up over Ibiza Town.

For a more sedate pastime there is a library – but you didn’t come to Ibiza to read now did you ! We really like the Hotel Rural Es Trull De Can Palau. This is a high end boutique hotel on the outskirts of Ibiza Town offering the best of both worlds. Close enough to experience the vibrancy of Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa, and easy road access to head up to the north to discover some different beaches or inland rural villages. Or stay by the pool and relax in the rural setting and enjoy great views across to Ibiza Town.
